update on rescue kitties

i thought i'd give you all a little glimpse into the three rescue kittens we took into our home.

they are growing and doing GREAT. almost all their bad behaviours are gone (no more pooping in the bird room) and all in all... they are absolute gems!

so... here's misty:

and here's all the girls at the feeding trough.

tigerlily is on the left... then misty and on the right... jayden.

jayden has a lighter head and body than tigerlily. jayden is very verbal... loves to talk to you. she adores my son and often will hear him and comes running... meowing... asking where he's gone LOL

tigerlily is very shy... but once you get a chance to pet her... she won't leave you alone. she's rubbing her nose all over your face - bites your lip and even your nostril!

misty is a lovie girl and definitely my personal favorite of the three. i'm her personal favorite as well so it's mutual :hug: she sleeps with me, jayden sleeps under my hubby's covers and tigerlily usually sleeps by my feet.

misty will decide, in the middle of the night that she needs love... so she'll wake me up and beg for love... it usually just gets her a spot on the floor though :giggle:

well i'm not really a tabby cat kinda girl... never been my thing. i'm more into the siamese or fluffy or tortoiseshell girls myself. and my older cats meet those requirements :giggle: but hey... a rescue is a rescue... you take them cause they need you not cause you choose them. :P

their brothers jimmy and johnny live a few houses away and are much bigger than these girls. they all eat the same good food (nutro) but the boys are much heavier than my girls.

and interestingly enough... tigerlily has a smaller nose than jayden and tigerlily is darker whereas jayden is lighter and the boys... jimmy and johnny are exactly the same. one looks identical to tigerlily and other looks identical to jayden.

our daughter's worried, that when we took them all to get their shots - that we wouldn't know the difference... but they we explained to them.... "just look for the dingle balls girls... " they cracked up of course... being 8 and 11 :P

their eye teeth have fallen out so they are almost ready to be fixed. we figure they are 5 months at the end of this month.

How'd you get Hudson!!!

Misty is a gorgeous girl and she and Hudson could be siblings! They look great Aleesha.

oh that are, aren't they LOL

misty's ears are turning darker by the day... as is her tail and striping on her legs. is hudson doing that as well?
