    I have a question
    I got a Question why has my juvenile ball python only been eating mice butt first he wont eat them head first i just fed him/ her and she would take the mouse until she got near the mouses tail then she grabbed them

    Sometimes snakes get confused as far as which end to eat first :P .Sometimes it happens and i dont think anyone knows why they do it.:D I think you should keep an eye on him when his rodents get larger to make sure they dont bite him.

    Are you feeding live or f/t? I am going to guess that you are feeding f/t (frozen/thawed). If that's the case, it may be that there's not a good heat signature at the head. You can try touching the nose of the mouse on a heat lamp to heat it up a bit more than the butt end.
