    treating wood befor use
we just acquired a bunch of live wood from a tree that was just cut down and i was wondering if it was best to cure/dry it before using it in my tank and if so what would be the best way to do this?

Never used live wood before. With any wood, its a good idea to soak it in hot water(a preference of mine) then bake it at 350 for 10-20 minutes. Just take it out, let it cool then youre good to go

I've always baked it at 350 for about 30 minutes on live & dead wood & mulch.
Never have had a problem after doing that.
