    breeding question..
My friend has two BCI that are locked up, and have been on and off for the past few weeks. So when should she seperate the male from mama? She has bulked up considerably, but then again it is a little hard to tell b/c she was normally always a pretty bulky girl to begin with.. I can get pics in a day or two of them.
Just wondering when the male should be removed.. thanks. :)

After the female goes through her Post Ovulation Shed (POS) and NOT before that. The female will swell up like a balloon (Ovulation) and then deflate and go into a shed that should last around two weeks. By the time she sheds the male will have lost complete interest in her and will be roaming the cage looking for his way outta dodge (no one likes to be around a uncomfortable and Just impregnated female...haha) and then she will slowly reflate and 104 days after the shed (give or take a day) she will pop those beautiful bouncing baby boas! They should invest in a temp gun and start monitoring her heat, she should be incubating around 88.7 constantly, if not...they need to up the heat. Any question?
