    am i correct in saying that natural daytime light is best for royals?,also i dont see the need for basking bulb as my hotend is 92,could you give me ur views on this :sabduel:

    If your snakes enclosure is in a room with a window you do not need anything else.:)

    my snake enclosure is about 15ft from a window so it gets daylight during the day my heatmat is set to 92,if i add a basking bulb this sends temps soaring

    As long as your temperatures are in the correct range from under tank heaters, there is no need for any bulbs. Snakes do not need full spectrum lights (ball pythons are nocturnal animals anyway)
