He's usually a lot lighter than this but he went into blue the next day.

i've been seeing this for a while but i keep forgetting to ask...what doesn it mean when you say he "went into blue"?

When snakes are in a certain part of their shed cycle, they get a blue, gray or hazy cast to their skin and many snakes eyes turn an opaque shade of baby blue. We call it "in blue" or "going into blue".
