i just had to let this out

to the people here that are in a relationship/married, did the person you're with ever have a problem with you because you have snakes and other reptiles as pets? i ask this because sometimes i wonder if my tarantula/snake hobby might "scare off" the girls and thats probably why they get no interest in me.as friends sure but more than that,i dont think they think of me like that.

Just get some game ... you'll be a'ight. ;)

heh...Miss Mandy HATED snakes before she met me. Daytona got her just as attached to bp's as I am...education :gj:

exactly what i've been telling myself for over 4 years now.but even at this point it's starting to get to me.but even then, i'll NEVER give up my hobbies for some girl that i probably wont last too long with anyway.

I just found out last night that he actually thought I was really weird.

I'm not married, but I -am- a girl. Guess what? I dig reptiles! And while I don't think I'd ever want a spider as a pet...it certainly wouldn't scare me off. Not ALL girls are petrified of things with scales or eight legs. Maybe you should shop for girls with interests similar to your own--or find girls with minds open enough to at least meet your scaley friends and see that they're not so bad after all. :)

finding a girl here where i live that has snakes for pets...that'll be the day.

You are going to find your partner at a gathering that celebrates what you love. Go to the shows, the cons, wherever there are snakes and spiders. When a museum has an exibit with snakes or spiders, make sure that you visit it a few times and chat up the people you meet.

It took me 15 years of serious looking to find my wife. We have been married 19 years. It wasn't all sweet and we have trouble from time to time, but we are definitely right for each other and we work things out.

AS for snakes, my wife has wanted one for years. It was my 12 yo daughter that convinced me that we should have one for a pet.

You just never know.

my girlfriend hates em but she is getting used to it now. we have been together for over 2 years by the time my first snake came around so she was already planning on sticking through to the end
