    flexwatt or heat cable
I'm going to be order 3 cages from Animal Plastics this week. I would like your input on if I should go with their heat cable or should I just use flexwatt. If you have Ap cages what is your opinion.

I have heard that their cages are too thick and dense for flexwatt to be an effective means of heating. But I've not ever tried it myself. Personally, if I spend that much money for a cage (and I really like their cages!) I would go ahead and spring for the routed heat cable to go with it. On both sides, even...warm and cool. Because even if you don't always need to turn on the "cool" side cable, it'll be there if your circumstances change and the cage is in a cooler than normal environment.
