VAN HALEN OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCE SUMMER TOUR
    February 2, 2007
Los Angeles, CA - In what is no doubt one of the most anticipated moments in rock and roll, VAN HALEN officially announces their 2007 North American tour.

The tour will mark the first time since 1984 that original VAN HALEN front man David Lee Roth will perform with Eddie and Alex Van Halen along with new bassist Wolfgang Van Halen for 40 shows this summer.

VAN HALEN fans can look forward to legendary high intensity performances, featuring a set list of the most iconic hits ever produced by America's premiere rock band.

Eddie Van Halen states, "I am very excited to get back to the core of what made VAN HALEN."

Seriously I cannot wait to see these guys! Was too young to see em them but now, the dream has come true! :D

I saw Sweaty Van Hamster open for Black Sabbath in 197(mumble, mumble). They were all drunk and stupid. Hopefully they have at least sobered up by now.

They blew Sabbath off the stage when they did that tour back in 1978 ;) Even Ozzy said they blew Sabbath off stage every night.

Michael said he'd never tour with Eddie again. Plus Michael is replaceable. However his high vocals are a part of the Halen sound. Wolfie is 16 so uh I'm guessing this will be his summer of *ahem* love ...

Somehow, I don't see David Lee Roth staying sober for a whole tour, but who knows?

Yes, but unfortunately when they were sober, David and Eddie realized they couldn't stand each other anymore, too.

I've never seen them, but I was in high school when they were in their heyday. Back then, the story (from my buddies who did go see them) was that there were no live albums because David was always drunk and off key during the performances, but that the concerts were such a great party that it really didn't matter.

I know its sacrilege but I still liked Sammy better than David Lee Roth. By the way, if his recent performances are any indication, DLR has NOTHING to offer anymore!
