Scarlett Fever - No gets this anymore right?
    Wrong!
The pediatrician just told us today that my 8 year old daughter has it.
Poor kid. All rashy, bad case of strep throat, fever, and just downright feels terrible.
I never knew this was still around but evidently it is.

Some of the old, extinct diseases are starting to come back and rear their ugly heads in the "developed" countries, such as the US. Polio is making a come back as well.
At least there is medicine for them now. I hope your daughter gets over it quickly, that's a nasty thing to contend with.

I had that when I was 7. But uh ... I uh ... had it in REALLY bad spot. Peelign skin, and rash and some blisters ... Ugh, not a good thing.

That is odd, and a lot worse than the mumps my husband suffered last year. I sure hope she gets to feeling better soon, the poor dear.
