    say hello to The Admiral
I've asked so many questions on this forum and received so much help that I feel I need to show off my little guy. He's around 1.5 years old and about as 'normal' as they come...but I couldn't ask for more. I'm just posting a link b/c apparently they don't teach you how to resize your pictures in college...sometimes I wander what I'm paying for!

Sorry there's so many pictures, but for some odd reason I just can't bring myself to delete any of them.

8B8ll...no it was actually almost the exact same size around as he was, but I do agree, it does look pretty big in the picture. He usually eats weanlings, but that's only because I don't see much need of putting him in any more danger from a live rat than need be (and he's not that big, 500 grams or so). I tried F/T and he looked at me like I was stupid; he's definitely a live kinda guy. Thanks for the replies everybody!

Gorgeous snake! Love it! :) And normal is awesome--ours is a normal, and I just love them.

Great pics too--I love love love the belly pic where he's kind of hanging in a "U" shape with his tail curled up a bit. Very nice.

By the way... do I see a hot rock in some of the pics? Just curious... it's my understanding that hot rocks can damage a snake fairly easily. I know a lot of pet stores and nature centers use them for their displays, but I think the standard advice from herp experts is to stay the heck away from them.

Bring on the photos--they are gorgeous. :)
