Sell me a used Herpstat

Is anyone looking to part with their unwanted Herpstat? I've been wanting to buy one and thought i'd see if I could go used before I bought new.

Ya thats kind of what I figured LOL. Oh well, I don't mind supporting our favorite reptile stores :) In fact, i've kind of been aching to make my first purchase from Rep Basics.

He shipped my order out to me really promptly--I'll definitely be doing business with Rich again. I bought Flexwatt and a Hemostat from him and he pre-wired the Flexwatt for me :)

He doesn't sell Herpstats, though--He carries Helix, Rancos and Johnsons. I had to order my Herpstat from The Bean Farm.

I would just go right to the maker to buy it. They ship amazingly fast. I had mine 2 days after ordering. You should also check out the herpstat pro. If you have a little extra cash the pro is a great value. There web site is:

The pro is more than most people need. A regular herpstat or the herpstat 2 is plenty for you if you are keeping only a single BP

Well, I am going to purchasing the herpstat along with a rack, so I will be getting more pythons sooner or later (hopefully i'll pick one or two up at the SC Repticon show, PM me if your gonna be there). I figure once I upgrade beyond my first rack I could get a PRO and use the original one to regulate my quarantine tub in another room.

I did look into the PRO and I will eventually have one, but theres a lot more i'd rather spend that extra $200 on at first.

If the rack houses all the same size tubs and all need to be set at the same temp, a single herpstat will do what you need.

Not ready to part with the ND just yet. It's an excellent t-stat. I will be ordering a Herpstat Pro soon...i haven't decided if I am going to sell the ND or keep it around.

On second thought, I just got a Ranco..and that sucker is loud turning on and off..i *might* just keep the ND to replace the ranco one day.
