Help Me!

So here's the thing. I don't know how I got these things, but I have them. According to my computer, I have spyware on my computer and possibly a virus or two. (I'm not so great at keeping up with security) Well all the programs I need to get rid of this stuff, I have to pay for. To do that I have to get to my online banking to transfer some money, but now I can't do that because of the intrusions on my computer. So I can't buy these programs to get rid of the stuff. I have Norton AntiVirus and Norton SystemWorks, but thats it. I have the antivirus doing a scan. I just don't know what to do. I live on this computer, so having it invaded is a big deal.

What should I do?

I'm letting it scan, but its going to take forever. I have a lot of files on this computer. Lets hope I can get this crap off the computer so I can continue using it normally.

and... getting proper security and stuff is part of being online with a PC (us Mac users aren't in the same situation) - kinda like brushing your teeth everyday or having your eyes examed... it's part of life.

My grandfather set up all my security stuff, so I never knew how to use any of it. I'll be looking into new security stuff very soon to make sure I have full protection.
