    She got Out!!!
I had one of my new females in a 10 gallon tank with screen lid and she pushed the lid up and escaped. I had her in the tank because I am in the process of building a rack. I have searched eveywhere in my room. I even pulled the refrigerator out to see if she was under it, but the whole thing is covered in about an inch of dust. I plan on placing a few pinkies throughout the house tonight to see if I can find out which room she is in. There are no holes in the walls, so I know she is in the house somewhere. Has this ever happened to you?
    What else could I do?

she may still be in the same room as the enclosure. also try setting up a heat lamp somewhere as well as the pinkies. she may get cold and need to look for some heat. but keep looking. when did this happen??

Ouch! I have heard others place flour along the edges of the walls to get some track marks.Good luck finding her.

I dont think it would be a safe idea setting out a heat lamp incase it gets knocked over or such as it could start a fire.

They almost always stay within 10-15 feet of their enclosure. When searching for her...check every crack, crevice, opening, or hole. If you've looked at something and thought, "There's no way she could fit under/through/into that".....CHECK THERE! It is mind-blowing what tight spaces they can squeeze their bodies through and into!!

how 'bout this, set up a secure heat lamp that wont get knocked over.

notify your family so they won't accidentally knock over the secure heat lamp and hope that a bp that live in a 10 gal isnt strong enough to knock over a secure heat lamp...

She was last seen at about 11 last night. I came home from class as 9:30 to discover her missing. I have a few extra heating pads that i will set out. I don't have any extra heat lamps. But that is a good idea.

    Thanks

    Just real quick.....

Go and check the tank again and make sure she isnt holed away some where in there. I made a mad dash over to a friends house for a lost ball one night, turns out he was in the moss. LOL

Keep in mind if you feed the snake will go find a warm spot to hide for a day or two. you would get more action from a hungry snake.

I have also heard they dont go far from the tank. You might make a nice warm comfortable hide somewhere. Might work.

Even jsut scenting the room with a mouse might be enough to get some hunting action!

    Good luck!!!!!!!!

I will give someone $20 if they can find her!!!:D
I just pulled the dryer and washing machine out to see if she was behind or under them but she wasn't.
I checked the tank 5 times! She is not there.
