Been a little concerned...normal behavior?

I had found an excellent thread on here about shedding, but I can't seem to find it anymore...so i'll just go ahead and ask my question. I've been somewhat concerned about my BP, he started the shedding process (hasn't shed his skin yet) but 2 days ago he was in blue so I know its coming soon. My concern is that as far as i've noticed he has stayed in his hide for a little over a week now. I don't even think he has left it...

Is this normal behavior during the shedding process? Usually he is very active during the night, but lately...not at all...
