No Pics!

Lately when iI look at some threads many of the pictures appear as red X's and I can't see them. I went back to look at a picture I posted and it's a red X. Are they being removed? Did the info get losts. It seems like others can see them because they comment on them. I was wondering if there is a problem on my part or is it on the part of the website? I assume others are having this problem. :(

where did you upload the pics?

It would help to diagnose the problem if you can provide links to the threads in question. On Amy's thread about her pied...she was rearranging pics in her photobucket account and that messed up some of her links.


People often post pics from their gallery here...then have to delete pics in order to add new ones...so those will also show up broken. But the staff does not delete pics out of anyone's gallery unless it were outside our TOS/Rules.

Sometimes a computer that is different from what you're used to using will have different security settings and not allow any images..or some images from certain sources...to show up. And sometimes the site just doesn't load all the way, for whatever reason...and refreshing the page will usually bring up pictures that showed up broken the first time.

So if you delete a pic from my gallery it no longer shows up in the post even though it's already been posted?

exactly, because each time the page loads, it looks for that picture at that link. Now, if attachments were enabled, then they would be there permanently. So you have to leave your pictures there pretty much forever if you want to see the pic in the thread forever, that or get your own hosting or use Photobucket for larger storage space.

Right...but unless you're putting nudie pics in your gallery or something, WE are not deleting them. Only you can do that. ;)
