    Does monty have an RI?
I was holding monty this morning and some clear stuff came out of his mouth. When I put him back in his cage to come on this site to ask questions, 2 more big drops came off the tip of his tongue. Is this RI? Do snakes drool? He hasn't been handled in a couple of days when he is used to being handeled every day.

Did this happen right after you picked him up? Is it possible that he'd just been drinking and some water dribbled out of his mouth?

Otherwise, no, snakes don't drool unless something is wrong. Either an RI causing mucus buildup or a mouth infection. No one can diagnose over the Internet, though, and unless you're certain he was dribbling water he'd just drunk, I'd make a vet appt to have him checked out.

No, we were playing with him in our bed and the stuff came out onto my husband's arm. The 2 drops came out when he was hanging off of my hand as I was pulling the cover off of his cage. It dripped onto a peice of paper that was on the floor. We found a couple of vets online that we are going to check out on Monday.
