    Surinam exercise =)
Just a recent shot of Carmen from a measuring picture shoot...is it just Carmen or can boas or specifically suri's just not "slither" well? I seriously I could probably put in her the middle of the carpet and leave her there safely because she just can't move very well with pushing or pulling against something, hehe...=)

The other thing I keep noticing is that she is getting a bit darker - yellow - especially on the top between her saddles, even in her tail...just kinda interesting. =)

i have no idea. i don't think i've ever put sabrina down on the floor. my hoggie, drake slithers like there's no tomorrow. he's off like a shot. *window, i need to climb the window* and he's over there, reaching up to get into the windowsill.

Wow she's gorgeous! I love Suris. Are you looking to breed her? How much did she measure to? Sorry, I just love snooping about pretty boas!

Kozma is more interested in sitting on my head than anything else. Little does he realize that he isn't a baby anymore and my bun can no longer hold a 4.5 foot snake! Chimera is the crazy slitherer.

Breed her - mmm, maybe. We certainly don't have room for another snake untl we move into a house and I would want to make sure Carmen is fully mature before thinking about breeding (4 or 5 years), so I've got time. =)

Measure her - yeah, well as sure as Rick gets off the d@mn XBox and whips out the Snake Measurer program, I'll have a number for you, hehe! My guess is at least 4', maybe a bit over. I don't know her exact age, but somewhere between 12-14 months. I do I have a weight on her - empty as of yesterday, 776g. =)

She's SO pretty!! And certainly does look much more golden now, rather than her silvery baby colors. It's fascinating how they change as they grow!

Wow, She is amazing. Most boas that have the silvery grey color when young with yellow and eventually brown out. Perfect B.c.c. I may add.

Thanks! I kinda wish she had pinkish tones instead of yellowy ones, but she's still my baby girl who I loves so much...=)

Ahhhh she's gorgeous Cass! That tail of hers just pops now as much as it did when she was a baby doesn't it. Sev, Luke's boa doesn't slither about much really, he's very much into climbing us or just coiling around someone's arm or leg and lazing about. Sonja on the other hand was a far busier snake and was forever attempting to get under things or hook some smaller piece of furniture with her big tail and dragging it along with her. Guess they are all unique that way.
