Where can I buy dry ice??
I'm going to be building a CO2 chamber for my feeder rodents and all I need now is some dry ice. What kinds of stores carry it and is it expensive?
Re: Where can I buy dry ice??
The only place in my town that sells it cheap is this ghetto gas station downtown. Sure, there's drug dealers on every corner, but it's somewhere near $3.00/lb. :8: So, I'd reccommend just calling around to places with frozen foods... some groceries may have it.

and if you are in canada... almost no where. i've been searching and searching. :( we have very strict laws up here about this stuff...
and me with 31 ratties to co2 next week... i guess i'll be using the vinegar and baking soda method
Re: Where can I buy dry ice??
I use a CO2 tank like they use for soda fountains you just need a regulator but one tank will last for years. Look for an Ice company or distributor. My friend gets it from a local company that makes all kinds of ice products (blocks, cubes etc..).
Re: Where can I buy dry ice??
You can buy it at Meijers in the front of the store like the regular ice coolers and it is around $.99 per lb.
