    Rose hair gender ID help
Here is a picture of my newest rose hair...I adopted it from my friend because he no longer had room in his house for it...Can anyone determine the sex of this spider?

I don't think anyone is going to be able to tell from those pictures. Can you get a closeup of the underside? Better yet, do you have a recent exuvium?

it's almost impossible to tell the gender of a tarantula(unless it's a mature male) without a recent shed skin.pics wont really help since males and females look the same before maturing.

    Ditto that.
Dorsal appearance will tell nothing as to gender and even ventral appearance is very iffy. The only accurate way to sex any tarantula is by a shed exuvia.
Just FYI, even sexing mature males on physical appearance, while generally easier, can be misleading because most people look for tibial spurs and not all tarantula species develop them. ;)
