wow i can' believe you got that close to those deer...................they usually bolt is they hear just a little sound..........................and that panther is very nice looking, wouldn't want to make him mad

if they are being fed then they'll get use to people over time. very nice pics. wish i could get that close to some deer...lol

Thanks everyone, those deer come around every winter. They are pretty used to us. However there used to be one BIG buck that would walk up, let you brush him, pet him, eat out of your hand. You name it, he didn't care. Of course there was always two people there and we NEVER did that stuff when he had antlers.
Sadly, some jerk that lives behind us, right up against the mountains that surround our little valley here shot him with a bow and arrow. I called Idaho Fish and Game and they tranquillized him and moved him to a sanctuary. So we don't feed the deer anymore so they don't get so used to people.
