    Allergies?
Does anyone have allergies? I have been suffering with what i think to be allergies. I've looked online but couldn't find anything with the symptoms I have. It's only my right eye that gives me a problem. It waters and tears all day. Inside not to bad, but it does water. Outside seems to be worst, and sometimes is seems sensitive with the window down, or in a big mall or some place like that. I rub it, and I make the skin around the eye sore.

any suggestions---im calling the doc tommorrow!

Chlorpheniramine or Loratidine(Claritin) would be your best bet. Chlorpheniramine(or Chlor-Tabs at Wallyworld) won't make you tired or hyper(unlike Benadryl), and is very inexpensive.

    Doesn't hurt to try! :)

(Disclaimer: my mom's a pediatric RNC, so no worries of death or dismemberment)

I'd definitely have a doctor check it out. Could be some sort of infection under the eyelid or something, or something else entirely. :confuzd: I've never heard of just one eye being affected by an allergy like that, but if something else irritated it, then dust or something may be making it worse.

You should have a doctor have a look at it. You could have a problem with the tear duct being blocked up. Women also end up with a lot of issues like this due to using our eye makeup for long periods of time before replacing it. Definitely something you probably want to have a doctor look at when it flares up though just to be safe.

Yep, always best to get these things checked out just in case. I just recommended trying those antihistamines as they won't hurt a thing :)

(but then again I have a full pharmacy in my house, so that doesn't help your situation much, LOL)

Ooo allergies. You just gotta love them. What I really like are the attack allergies. They are gone for a bit then just BAM hit you for a day or two. Make you sneeze your everloving head off...grrrrr. Okay, better now.
I agree with talking with a doc. My sister had eye problems, just one eye. They found out it was an infection and gave her ointment and some sorta drops.
