    Retarded temp question

on my hot side should I be shooting for 90-95F inside the warm hide or outside of it?
the hide on the warm side retains heat and runs about 5 degrees hotter than the floor just outside the hide. Which temp should I be concerned with?
Is it ok if the warm hide is higher than 95F?

I am such a NOOOOOOOOOOOB!

You mainly want to make sure the very bottom, under the substrate, of the tank/tub is 92-94 degrees.

Personally I measure the temps inside the warm side hide and shoot for 92-94 degrees in there. Some hides trap heat differently and since the snake is in there a lot of the time it's on the warm side (rather than laying on the substrate outside the hide), that's where I want to make sure I'm measuring temps.
