Reputation question?

I have many reputation thingys with green dots in front of them and one with a dot with no color. What does that mean? It wasn't a negative comment but actually a nice comment. Does that mean it's a nuetral comment?

New members don't have the "power" to affect rep points either direction...but they can still leave comments. A grey dot means a rep value of "zero"...whether left by a new member, or an "unfair/illegal" negative rep changed to zero by admin.

What does a negative look like?
