MAN, this weather!!

So I live in western NY; we have had no real snow up until last week.. well, right now we are getting POUNDED here in Arcade!! I am seriously amazed that the Internet is even working; my friend drove me home and a drive that usually takes 10 minutes took us about half an hour.. luckily she just called me and told he that she made it home safe.. the roads are horrible. And I called Mark in Buffalo.. he says that there is NOthing there!
So for everyone (myself included) that used to think Buffalo, NY was the snow capital of the free world.. it is NOT.. Arcade, NY is, definately.. now just wish me some good vibes/prayers/thoughts that my Marky gets home OK, as it is a whiteout condition..
I am still thawing from having to walk down our half-mile driveway from the road..! Man, you gotta love winters in NY. Let me get out there and take some pictures, if it is not too dark already..

I sure will try to! I have to go trudge water buckets from the house to barn for the horses.. luckily I left them in today, for their own good, but there was lots of fun to clean up in their stalls!

If I had my way.. I would be a firm believer in hunkering down at home for the entire winter season. I can't wait for the day I can work from home and do just that..

WOW! Best of luck....... Let us know when Mark gets home safe..... It got down to 30 here last week, I thought that was WAYYY too cold! lol.... :oops:

Hi all... im new here and so far i love this group already... but speaking about the weather.... i live in south alabama.... and the weather wont make up it's mind.... one day it's all nice and warm.. and pretty outside.... next day it's raining and really cold....

here in SoCal has been colder than normal.it got to 30's-50's.....too cold!!!

This whole country has been getting nutty weather, it seems like.. frightening..

You aren't kidding. We got over a foot so far today! Jeesh...good thing I love to snowboard!!!

I hear ya.. well, the weather is here for you to do that! I felt bad for all of the skiing places up near Kissing Bridge this year, with no snow load; they are probably raking in the money now though and in the enxt few weeks..

Phew, Marky is home! Time to hunker down and stay warm!
