I don't know...I saw the retic vs. Tiger movie but it was black and white and this one was color...I don't know... By the looks of the video I would say no. BUt I'm not sure. The retic ended up living I believe in that movie...the Annie wasn't so fortuneate.

The retic vs. tiger was from a 1932 movie called "Bring 'em Back Alive". I read an article a while back in which the retic in the movie actually fought off a crocodile before they had the cameras set up, and then had to fend off an attack by the tiger. Here's the YouTube.

That's rediculous!!! Thanks for the information man...;) I had been wondering what movie that clip was out of...I want to try to find the original movie. Must have been sick seeing that happen life in 1932... I'm sure they were losing it watching that...I know I lossed it when i first saw it a few months ago. :)
