uvb lighting

does anybody know whether snakes benefit from full spectrum uvb lighting, helping their digestive system and stuff

There might be some species that do, but I can't think of any offhand. Most snakes do fine without any special lighting, so long as they have the proper temps and some sort of ambient light cycle.

i didn't think they did but just thought i would check it out, wanna give the guys the best environment i can, after all they didn't ask to live in a viv. :)
