    looks like i got the winter cold yesterday.and it got me thinking a while ago, since i have a cold,would i be able to handle my snakes? i wouldnt get them sick or anything would i??

    Nope. Reptilian and Mammalian germs are completely different.

    Edit: Although bacteria such salmonella can be transmitted...

    thats good to hear.i bet my parents will ask me if i would get my snakes sick if she sees me handling them.

    Even though you're not likely to pass your cold onto your snake, you may want to reconsider handling. Mistakes are made when you are not completely focused on what you are doing. You could fall asleep while handling or forget to properly close your enclosure, and it's just not worth the risk. Why not just rest, and when you're feeling better then handle them. ;)

    trust me i may be sick but im focused on what im doing even though im handling them. but i probably wont handle them anyway in case i end up coughing/sneezing on them.
