    Snakes Vs. Cats/Dogs
my dad often "talks" to my chihuhua dog and says "would a python/boa be able to eat you?"(he saw that on "snakes on a plane"). of course i always roll my eyes when he says this but then it got me thinking, when my BP/blood get to their adult size, would they be able to eat/constrict my cat/dog if they got the chance?

Would they be able to? Sure, but would they try it...unlikely. As we've beat to death before, ball pythons are imprint feeders and I would think it be unlikely that a ball python would perceive a cat or dog as food. You never know, though.

i honestly don't see why not. snakes are predators. if they see a potential meal, then they may make a meal out of it.

I've heard of stories of cats and dogs come up missing. but..."stories"..ya know?

Depending on size of said pet and how long it had been since they ate it is a small possibility.
I know I keep the kittens away from the snakes when I'm cleaning tubs, especially my larger bloods and BCs.
Just prefer to be safe rather then sorry.

i don't know if your snake would do that, but either way, keep all of your pets seperate and safe.
