One of Saddam's right-hand men beheaded
As is the video of Saddam's own execution didn't stir controversy, one of his right-hand men was beheaded when he was hung. They said it might have been from the fact the man had cancer. Here's the complete scoop from Yahoo!

The "long drop" method of hanging that the Iraqis used on this guy involves a careful calculation of rope length that factors in weight, body type, age, etc. They adjust the length of the drop according to those factors. Too short of a drop, and the subject remains concious and dies of strangulation or lack of oxygen. Too long of a drop, and well, use your imagination.

Or at least thats what I read on CNN today...

...either way...these guys did some pretty bad things while they were in power and what goes around comes around...

He was rumored to have killed a man by putting him in a meat grinder. And why are so many people mad? I mean the guy helped aid killing all those people. Seems to be a fitting end.

It always amazes me how people whine about executions being inhumane. I am all for the death penalty personally, in cases where there is irrefutable proof that the person did such heinous crimes. Some say it is better to let the perp live and feel remorse, but heh, many of those degenerates have NO remorse, no feeling for fellow humans or even animals' pain and suffering. Plus I work hard for my tax dollars; so let's go turn them into food and lodging for some degenerate for the rest of their life in the penal system.. nope, no sympathy for psychopaths here.

I agree. I personally love the thought of killing the people who shouldn't live. If they have totally deserved that death.

The man took part in killing over 100,000 people in the 1990's. And there are people saying hanging him is inhumane?

That part is true, hanging is more precise than you think.

Jen you are so correct! I feel if you kill someone then you should be killed in the same manor! I am sick of hearing how those murderers are mistreated  .
