    i have just set up my tank up with a heat emitter and heatmat i am confused which one has to be plugged into the thermostat? :banned1:

    i would use a thermostat on both heat sources! so you might need 2 stats depending on your setup. those heat emitters get really hot, definately use a stat on them!! maybe a stat on the heat emitter and a dimmer on the heat pad? use digital thermometers to double check your temps.

    set at 32 c is about 90 deg. F use a digital thermometer to double check and make sure this setting is what it is. i would get another stat for the cool side or use a light dimmer switch at least. try to keep the cool side around

    27-28 C and the warm end 32-33C.
