Slight growth spurt!

At her smallest, she weighed in at 45g:

Today, she weighed in at 161 g. Another first this week, she shed completely on her own. That's a huge milestone for her, as up until now she has only shed in pieces. I know this wasn't due to husbandry, as all 7 other snakes have never had an issue like that. I suspect it has to do with oil production when she was severely underweight, but not being a vet or herp expert, it's just a theory. Here's the progress:

Everyone in my house agrees, she is definitely the sweetest snake we have, and she has more spirit in one spur than most. Unbelievable that she made it this far!

Oh she's looking wonderful Sarah! We all know the level of committment and love you've poured into Emily so to see her well over 100 grams and eating/shedding well is just a great thing! It will be very cool one day to see a pic of her so tiny versus her adult self won't it. :)

Emily sure has changed my life forever, she really woke me up to the fact that life without snakes would be boring....this despite all the trials we've gone though with her! hahaha
