    Humidity during blue and shed
I've read that humidty should be kept as high as 70% during shedding, but what about during blue prior to the acutal shed? Does that figure refer to the entire shed cycle? Is the number acutally lower? I just noticed yesterday that my BP is in blue. This will be the first shed I've had with her (she's had with me, rather).

Of course, she picked an excellent time, I'll be out of town Sat-Mon, so I'll need to find a friend to make sure conditions are right for a perfect shed. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

yeah when i notice the blue eyes i will attempt to bump the humidity up if it isn't already. then you can try to get it back down when the shed is finished.

Do you have an accurate way of knowing your humidity right now?

Absolutely. I have all of the appropriate thermometers, hygrometers, etc. I'm currently trying to keep the humidity at about 65% via regular misting. I would imagine that the cool side of the tank, seeing as it is covered by tin foil and is, well, cool(er), may have slightly higher humidity.

I usually notice the pink belly before the blue eyes and thats when I bump up the humidity. 70-80% is where I keep it
