Short list of Care Sheet for BP for the SPCA of NB

Hey Gang,

I emailed the New Brunswick SPCA about the treatment of snakes at a Pet Store.
The man says they have TWO problems -

1- there are no codes of practice for reptiles to use for enforcement
2- to make them comply with and I will now have to notify them that they have a snake in contravention of the Fish and Wildlife Act of NB as ball pythons require and exotic animal permit in this province.

He now wants to know what SHOULD be the requirments for a Pet Store in order to keep Ball Pythons...

I suppose I could send him a care sheet but I dont think he wants to read one!?!???

Does the poor SPCA person not have internet access since BP's are one of the most common snakes you see in a pet store and there is a literal TON of information online about them (not all of it good information but nonetheless). Amazing that they want someone else to do the footwork for them. Guess they should be renamed "Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals except snakes because we are totally clueless and can't be bothered to educate ourselves"....geeze!

I hope he doesnt come after my snake since I don't have a permit either! AHH! lol
