    My First Leo
So i got my first normal leo today. I am not sure if it is a girl or a boy, i saw the thread on how to check, so i'll give him/her a look once i let 'em settle in. i think he/she's had enough for the day. lol.
oh, and her tail is one that grew back, so it looks like a little bubble right now, but i don't mind. :)

the new little one's name is Rooster (long story).

here is a picture (becuase i know threads with pictures are so much cooler. haha)

i pretty much know how to take care of them (lots of reading up and reading posts), but i have 2 questions...

    1. how often do you change the watery paper towel in a humid hide?

    2. do males or females get bigger?

congrats on the new addition. :)

    1. the paper towel should be moist, not watery--you shouldn't be able to squeeze much water out of it. change about once a week or so. in between changing you can just mist it to keep it damp.

    2. males have broader heads and somewhat bulkier bodies but i don't think either tends to be larger than the other.

Good looking guy! As for adult males and females, the size is about the same. Males get slightly broader heads, but there's not much of a difference.
