    feeding rats
    i have tried switching my ball python to rats but have tried to no avail,i have tied scenting them,she will only eat large mice but not multiples,please help :rockon:

    No need to switch to rats ... jumbo mice are fine for an adult ball python.

    cheeers adam, the only problem is the shop where i get my mice from ,their jumbo mice dont look big enough,do people feed rats to beef up their snakes quicker?

    Don't worry about "quicker" ... let your snake be a snake ... I have plenty of adult females that prefer nothing but mice and they do just fine. ;)

    :rockon: Too many people forget this is a hobby and not a race ;)

    Daveyboy, buy a few of those mice at a time and bulk them up with a high quality mouse chow before you feed them off. Most pet stores feed their rodents the crappiest food possible and very little of it, as they are " only feeders" :(
