I was going to get indivual pics of all the babies but so many looked the same. I picked these ones out for one reason or another.

They're cute, but bless their hearts - they're obviously stressed out (the red porph on his nose in the second picture).

You keep three litters together at the same time? :O

Well 2 litters. one of the moms had a prolapse so I had to Euthanize her and all 16 of her babies stayed with these 2 moms. I'm working on feeding them off so there aren't so darn many. Any tips on how to clear it up? Becky already mentioned the red stuff

Just doing the math here. The female that had to be put down had 16 young and you put them in with two other females that already had young? All in the same enclosure? So how many total adults and young in together?

There are under 20 young now with the 2 moms in a 40 breeder as of now. Of course some of the young from the litter of 16 died as there were about 16 from the other 2 litters that were a couple days older that they had to compete with.

I just wanted to update everyone. The black hooded rex flame(?) has cleared up wonderful. As soon as she is cleared up 100% She'll be moved into her own tank with the other female on the thread and hopefully one more. The 2 pictured in this thread are both running around the cage eating lab blocks pretty well. She is the sweetest thing. I try and hold her atleast 1 time a day now. Shes going to be one of the 2-3 females I hold back as future breeders. I'll probably seperate her in the next 1-2 weeks. What do you think of her now? Sorry, its so hard to get a shot of her nose

She's a wedge-blazed hun... It would be best not to breed her if you don't want any risk of megacolon being introduced into your colony.
