normal for bp's to get fat?

i have a male bp a little over a year old now. i feed him 2 adult mice ever two weeks. seems he is getting fatter more than longer. is this normal for males or bp's at all?

He'll stop eating when he's had enough.

I always notice my babies will get chunky, and then they'll thin out a bit and lengthen.

how long till they start to lengthen? he's about a year and half old. not exactly sure. i can provide pics if anyones interested.

Are you sure he's a male? Females do tend to be chunkier.

had him probed the day i bought him.
