    anyone else noticed this?
i started feeding live mice to my snake because i relized that that was what he liked.. i fed him three times already well twice, tried the third time.. and noticed that both the first two mice i put in the cage with him were calm and didnt relize anything strange was going on.. then this third time i put the mouse in and it smelt the snake and literally jumped up and sprung across the tank to the corner really scared.. can anyone explain this?

I have noticed strange behaviour in various mice. It is by no means predictable. There is also a rapid fire tail whip by some mice when they notice the snake is present. No idea, but i assume they sense a predator.

yeah the one that ran across the tank obviously knew there was a predator there but i dont understand why if this one did why the others didnt notice it at all
