    BP rubbing head against glass...
I just noticed something strange. My BP keeps rubbing the top to side of his head pretty hard against the glass. Is he just trying to escape? Is this normal? Could this mean something is wrong?

I have him in a 40 gallon glass tank. The humidity is a bit of a problem because there is a screen. I have a hide on each side of the cage. One of them is a humid hide with sphagnum moss. ( I just put a diff. type of sphagnum moss in then i was using before. could that have anything to do with it?) The warm side is 84. The cool end is 79. I have a UTH and a ceramic heat lamp. He hasnt been feeding lately but I'm gunna try and feed him tonight. Also it is newspaper bedding.

i think you need to raise the hot side to 90-92 the cool side to the 80's about 84.

Yeah it's a lil too low, and in case of too high of humidity and low temps can increase the chances of RI.

here's something you can do to help keep your humidity up . i use this method on all my tanks and it works very well . just cover all but about one half inch to either side of the screen lid with aluminum foil and use duct tape to hold it down . this way you can mist once or twice a week and it will hold the humidity pretty well . here's a couple pics to illistrate .

from what i've read, constant rubbing is a sign of stress... but i'm not sure how much your snake is rubbing.
