A couple pieces of shed left on him
    http://samspython.com/wp-content/upl...first-shed.jpg

OK, Darth just had his first shed (since I got him about a month ago) and there is a small patch of skin left there where the yellow circle is and there is a larger piece hanging off his chin. What can I do to help him get this off?

to start... thats a gorgeous snake. what i always do is soak my snakes in a bowl of warm water, enuff where they float but not enuff to drown... and ill do that for 10-15 minutes.... the snake must be supervised. Then i just take some paper towel and dry the snake off and the skin comes rite off. Also u can get a spray bottle and spray down his tank twice a day with regular water to make the tank more humid which will help him shed fully in one piece... good luck and id like to see more pics :)

Realistically, you don't want for the water level to be higher than midway up the snake's body. If the water level is any higher the snake can either tire itself out when swimming or can panic and drown.

You can also wet a washcloth or a towel and let the snake slither through it a few times to get the shed off.

Dont try to take it off yourself (grabbing it and pulling it off) Let the snake slither through a warm wet cloth (not too warm though) And it will come off eventually.
