Yesterday I went to Petsmart.

I had received a $25 gift certificate to petsmart and of course I went into the reptile supply section. I decided to get a couple of Large Fluker vines to help add some foliage and extra security for a couple balls and I decided to try the Jurrasi-clean reptile tank cleaner and deodorizer...

Needless to say yesterday was full of cleaning tanks, Hideboxes, logs, vines, water dishes and swapping out bedding...

Everyone's tank looks and even smells great now...:D

Today after I get out of work everyone gets Fed! :rolleyes:

OR you could have spent $15 on a gallon of chlorhexidine and your tanks will always smell good ;) But gift cards are always fun. What are the active ingredients in that cleaning stuff? Probably just alcohol(which takes 30 minutes contact time to disinfect anything).

They do have some nifty tank decor if you are into naturalistic setups.. I am about to set up my BCI's glass cage today myself..
As for cleaning.. I Heart Bleach.

Yeah I usually use bleach and rinse it out real good but I liked the idea that it was already in a bottle ready to spray... I kind of had a hard time picking stuff out as it was... I already have a bunch of stuf so I figured that i'd just try it out..

Hey what kind of deal do get on reptile supplies? I worked at a reptile/exotic pet store in Maine for a while...Northeast exotics in Brewer Maine, Ben cole use to be the manager there...anyways I got killer deals on stuff...The coolest benefit to workin at a pet store! haha, and yeah you've got a beautiful mojave so the compliment was just inevitable... I want a mojave bad... I think my next morph will be either a mojave or a spider...

at first i thought this was gonna be one of those bad stories about animal mistreatment but nope :cool:

I also use to buy the cage cleaner from Petsmart, from Zoomed I think it was. It came in a small 6 or 8 ounce bottle for about $6.00 and lasted a month or so. I was turned on to Virosan by a friend and bought a gallon a few months back, but I paid $28.00 with shipping. Either way, it works great, and diluted will last me forever or till it expires in 2 years.

A $25.00 gift card is alright, I wonder why I haven't gotten one!

Yeah, it wasn't bad. IF rats weren't so expensive there I probably would have just gotten a round for everybody. But They were and I decided to go with the cage accessories. :)
