    Happy Holidays everyone!
Just got home late last night from visiting my family, hence my recent absence. Hope all of you are enjoying a safe & relaxing holiday season, and looking forward to a fabulous 2007!!!

Had a great time with my family, and came back Christmas Eve. Then, my 96 year old grandmother was hospitalized on Christmas Day with pnuemonia, so I thought I was going to have to drive back up, but she's doing remarkably well, although there was some heart damage.

However, the doctor told her that he has patients 20 years younger than her that do not respond to treatment as well as she has. She's a strong lady - but it was very clear how little time we likely have left with her on Saturday (20 minutes to open a stocking stuffer - you take for granted even the strength in your hands - and of course, she wanted no help).

So, I'm thankful for the time I got to spend with her, and I'm planning another trip up in March to see her for a full week, instead of a long weekend.

Glad you had such a nice time with your family!!!! We still missed you!

Unfortunately due to illness, my family was not able to come down to visit us. *sigh* It's been forever since I've been back home.

I'm so glad that you were able to get back home for a bit Kara and you too Robin. I'm very jealous. Nothing's more special than spending time with your family.

Thanks K; glad you're doing good. I got the best holiday gift; Mark asked me to marry him.. :D
He and I bought a new Spider for a gift.. and the family is basically healthy; my grandma has some bad arthritis going on, but the day before christmas she went into the ER, got some different meds and she was her old self for the holidays pretty much.
