    No Light
My ball pythons are in a dark closet all day, with no light, is this ok? What affects does light have on a Bp, although they are nocturnal?

    Thanks

It will throw off their photocycle. Just flick the light on in the morning and off at night. At the same time every day mind you.

The snake knows when its night or day, just like it knows winter from summer. It wouldn't hurt you to open the door just for alittle light.

Ok... I will probably set up a light in there later on. My room is really cold. When I open the closet doors for light, even a little, my small heater can't keep up with heating:P . I may need a better space heater! Thanks guys!
