I thought this was a little strange.....
Last night was feeding night for the snakes. Dax the year old BP, and Toby the 5 1/2 month old cornsnake. Food was warmed and given. (we feed f/t) My husband commented that Dax looked dull and I reminded him that Dax was due for a shed very soon. I did my little check the vivs, scrub water dishes, check for poo thing and he hadn't made any poo either. We usually leave him alone to eat (if we stay sometimes hes more interested in what the humans are doing than his rattie) so we left the room and I told my husband that I was sure in the next few days he would poop and shed.
We go back in to see if Dax was done eating and return him to his viv, and there he is, freshly shed. We took him out, did a quick check, no retained shed anywhere, eyes clear, and put him back. My husband picks up the shed, and said, you were right. Inside the shed, was some BP poo. I was suprised, he never has eaten, shed, and pooped that close together. Anyone else had that happen?
