    Early Breeding?
This could be a stupid question, but if a male and female are kept in the same tank, will they end up breeding early and killing the female? I've heard this before and my brother is splitting up his corns so this doesn't happen. Would this happen with 2 bp's?

Yes it can happen and it can have very bad results for the snakes involved. Communal housing isn't a good idea for a lot of reasons, premature breeding being just one of them.

Before I knew any better, my then unknown sexual pair were housed together and bred the first winter I had them. The female produced 5 eggs and the babies are doing awesome until this day, but I am just considering myself very lucky.

you don't know that. they will breed when they are ready if kept together, whether it is a safe size or not.

I didn't have a scale at that time, but if I were to guess I'd say probably around 1200 grams.

Actually, you should probably keep them separate until you know your female is at least 1500 grams before breeding.
