Where to get Rats in Northern Cali?
Normally, I live in Berkeley, California, and there is a store that sells live pinkies for my BP... but for the time being I have relocated to Fremont, California for winter break, and will probably do so for summer vacation as well.

Does anyone know any pet shops (or breeders!) that sell live pinkies around Fremont? San Jose would be acceptable. Berkeley is a 50 minute drive, and San Jose is only around 30... I should probably try to switch my BP to f/t, but it's only been a month and a half since I've had it so I didn' want to make the switch until he started eating steadily.

    Thanks in advance! :D

As far as I know PetCo sells only live companion animals. They do sell rodents for prey but those are always frozen/thawed.

The ones here(and I assume most others) sell live for pets or feeders. The "fancy" rats are a bit more than the albino feeders. They have stickers on the cages that say something along the lines of "We feed and recomend feeding frozen thawed prey items to reptiles"
    Hope this helps a bit
