Rheumatoid Arthritis???

This might seem kind of personal but I was wondering if anyone here had RA? I think I may have it and I am kind of scared to go to the Doctor. If you do or know someone who does can you tell my how they diagnose it? Any ideas where I can find some good info on it? I have a Doctors appointment after the first of the year but its pretty nerver racking waiting to go.

My step-dad has it and last I saw him, he was using something called Embrel, which are basically RA super shots. I'm not sure how exactly they diagnose it, though.

OKay thanks, I will read through it. I just want to get a better idea on the disease itself other than just the symptoms, so when I go in to see my doctor so I have an idea of what he is talking about.
