I'm quite happy!! Attempted my first feeding tonight and it went beautifully. I dangled the pinkie in front of my little guy and pitched it down. He ignored it for a few minutes, so I decided to give him some privacy. I went back to check after about 20 or 30 minutes, and lo and behold, no mouse in sight, and a happy, content looking bp hanging out on the driftwood jungle gym under the basking light. :D
