do mites walk in jerky movements? like really fast for a cm or so then stop then really fast for another cm, etc.? ive never had a mite problem so i dont know their characteristics.
i ask because i saw some small black bugs in my ackies cage earlier and im trying to identify them. possibly mites but ive never heard of any mite that will prey off of monitor lizards.
